At 6.5 years old, Polina weighs only 13 kilos. In addition to physical weakness, this weight deficiency delays development and prevents treatment for the main diagnosis. Thanks to 148 Tubers the necessary amount was raised to buy a balanced, high-calorie medical formula feeding for the girl. Polina already had a remedial nutrition course under this scheme once and she managed to put on weight, but the necessary amount of therapeutic feeding for such a course is too expensive for Polina's family and they could not afford to buy it themselves.
