Nastya had an operation and is now home. Everything is fine, she feels great. Nastya was born with a diagnosis of spina bifida, which caused the child's kidneys to malfunction, which was not immediately noticeable and led to severe deterioration of the urinary system. A year ago doctors diagnosed deterioration of kidney function and started treatment: medicament therapy and regular catheterization gave results. Kidney function improved noticeably.

The next stage was to consolidate the result. She had to have an operation. Nastya underwent the surgery under the compulsory medical insurance. But the gel that was to be injected (a volumizing agent for the treatment of urinary incontinence) had to be purchased on her own. And we couldn't wait with the surgery either. The family turned to us for help. In a very short time 562 Tubans united and we managed to collect the necessary amount of money! Nastya's surgery was done!

Nastya needs an operation to keep her kidneys healthy

Nastya is adored by the whole family, cheerful, stubborn, loving and giving happiness and joy to everyone around her. Nastya is very fond of drawing. The creativity and talent of the young artist is absolutely everywhere: whether it is a window frame, a boring wallpaper wall or her mother's jeans, she is ready to decorate the whole world with bright colors.

And all this despite the fact that Nastya has a severe congenital disease - spina bifida. The arches of the spine did not close, the spinal cord formed a hernia. Nastya was operated on the very first day of her life. Then there were several more surgeries. But Nastya was only 4 years old.

Because of the basic diagnosis her kidneys did not function correctly; it was not noticed right away and led to severe deterioration of the urinary system. A year ago doctors diagnosed deteriorating kidney function and began treatment: medicament therapy and regular catheterization gave results. Kidney function improved noticeably.

The next stage was an operation to preserve the result. We shall not wait for the surgery, it has to be done as soon as possible, otherwise a whole year of preparation will be in vain. The surgery will be done free of charge, according to the compulsory medical insurance. But the gel to be introduced (volume-forming agent for the treatment of incontinence) should be bought by her.

The family turned to us for help in buying this important substance for sunny Nastenka. The family cannot afford to buy this expensive medicine. The surgery will allow the girl to improve her quality of life - her kidneys will keep working and she may get rid of diapers and be able to wear normal underwear.
