Aikorkem underwent a complex skull surgery, installing special plates to align the shape of her head. The bones of the little girl's skull had fused too early, deforming her head, shifting her eyes and eyebrows, and, worst of all, threatening to squeeze her growing brain. Thanks to your support, all fears and worries are behind us, and the girl is now at home and feeling well.

Aikorkem needs skull surgery to correct a congenital bone malformation

Four-month-old Aikorkem has plagiocephaly, a skull deformity due to an early fused coronal suture. The girl's face is asymmetrical, eyes, eyebrows at different levels. And with each passing day, her head is gradually becoming more deformed. The most dangerous thing is that over time, the brain will have no room to grow at all. Pathology threatens serious problems: lag in development, loss of vision, hearing. In order for the baby to grow up healthy, an operation is needed.

The parents have applied to several leading surgeons in Kazakhstan. But they do not have enough experience in carrying out such complex operations. It is necessary to form the little girl not only the correct shape of the skull, but also to align the eye sockets. Morozov Hospital in Moscow is ready to help the girl. But the treatment is expensive, and the parents themselves cannot cope. Dad works as a security guard in a kindergarten and takes any job, mum is on maternity leave.
