Report

Veronica did not immediately get used to standing. At first the exercise in the verticalizer you gave her lasted only a few minutes. Now she stands for an hour every day. Thank you for the opportunity to change the quality of my child's life! Mom writes:

"There are moments in life when you can't do anything, no matter how hard you try. And it was at just such a time when you kind and helpful people came to help our family. You helped us to buy a vertical wheelchair - so necessary and important for our daughter. During 4,5 years Veronica was lying down completely. And now she can stand, look at us, at the objects around us. Thanks to the standing positioner, she gets strain on her spine and legs, which strengthens her physically, she gets used to this - a natural position for a person - of the body.

At times like this, we want to say not just "thank you very much", but to express our appreciation and gratitude for the help from the bottom of our hearts. We wish fate rewarded you for your kind hearts, open souls and responsiveness. Good luck to you, health, peace over your heads, comfort in your home, good luck in your family and incredible happiness in every new day!

About the campaign

Veronica needs a special trainer to learn how to stand

Veronika Nemtsova has a severe form of epilepsy. Seizures occur with respiratory arrest and can be repeated up to 14 times a day. Doctors have not yet been able to find medicine to stop the disease, but the search for treatment continues - different methods are being considered. No one is giving up hope.

And while doctors are searching, her parents are trying to do everything they can to make sure that Veronica, despite the disease, becomes stronger, more enduring and more mobile. And that the consequences of her prolonged lying down and daily cramps would be less.

Doctors recommend that the girl be verticalized - put on her feet. This helps strengthen muscles and joints, does not stagnate fluids in the body, develops lungs. But only the father can work in the family, and one salary is not enough to buy everything necessary for the care of the child and his rehabilitation. There is no money for an upright, so Veronica has to lie or sit in a wheelchair most of the day. This makes her even weaker. Let's help her get an exercise machine for Veronica and get closer to overcoming her disease!
